We created a “Double Scale” candy house for the Columbus Museum of Art, located in Columbus Ohio. The house is over 30" tall and contains no real food or candy. We hand sculpted the individual candies from sculpey modeling clay. We used SolidWorks and our 3D printer to create the mint leaves, as well as custom shaped cookie cutters used to cut the gingerbread shapes.
The Candy House was modeled after a painting titled "Relic" by artist Will Cotton, which is part of the permanent collection at the Columbus Museum of Art.
